CHESTER – Wayne E. Kimball, 56, husband of Rhonda (Fleming) Kimball, passed away Sept. 23, 2009, in Lincoln. He was born Oct. 11, 1952, in Fort Belvoir, Va., the son of Millard and Marie (Abate) Kimball. Wayne worked at Lincoln Paper & Tissue right up until the time of his death. He was a member of USW Union Local 01-396, a past member of GWRRA Motorcycle Club and at the time of his death was a member of the National Streetrod Association. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed giving everyone a ride in his 1923 T-Bucket. In addition to his wife, Rhonda, he is survived by two sons, Shane and Amy of Chester, and Jerrod and Betsy of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Courtney, Ryland and Cameron; a sister, Donna Kimball; a brother, Donnie Kimball, both of Chester; two uncles, Louis and Joyce Abate, and Alfred and Ann Abate; several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He also leaves his two cats, Tanner and Bruiser. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Ireland; and his mother-in-law, Gail Fleming. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. William Chesley officiating.
