ORONO – Sherry Lynn Conary, 51, died peacefully Sept. 30, 2009, surrounded by her aunt and uncle, Lorena and Bill Smith; and her Treat Falls House family. She was born Oct. 11, 1957, in Bangor, a daughter of Marshal and Gloria (Monk) Conary. When Sherry was 2 her mother died and she was raised by her grandmother, Elsie Monk Levesque; and then her aunt and uncle, Bill and Lorena, cared for her for many years until she moved into the Treat Falls House, in 1998. She enjoyed it there. Sherry was a very happy person and was a joy to know and be around. She touched many lives and brought sunshine to all, and will be remembered for her laughter and bright eyes. She will be sadly missed by the residents and staff at Treat Falls House and Brucher Day Program. Sherry is survived by her uncle and aunt, Bill and Lorena Smith; father, Marshal; sisters, Pam, Sheila, Peggy, Sue and Cindy; brothers, Larry, Mike, Dana and Danny; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her mother, Gloria; and grandmother, Elsie. She will be buried at West Enfield Cemetery with her mother and grandmother.
