BANGOR – Herve “Herbie” Mathe, 45, died peacefully in his sleep early Monday morning, Oct. 18, 2010, due to natural causes. He was a native New Yorker, who moved to Maine in 2003 in hopes of building a home and spending more quality time with his children, Shanika and Corey Mathe. He was a spiritual, loving father, friend, son and brother. He worked for the city of Bangor and retired due to health issues. He brought joy to the hearts of those he knew and spoke compassion with every word. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. RIP “Big El,” we love you so much and may God keep you for eternity.
