WEST ENFIELD – Ernest “Claydene” Robinson, 83, passed away Feb. 4, 2011, surrounded by his family at home. He was born Feb. 20, 1927, in Howland, son of Leona Clark and Clint Robinson.

He served in World War II as an MP. He retired in 1992 from Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita; and his three daughters, Dawn, Dena and Linda; his very special grandson, his chum, Steven “Bubba” Putnam; a special granddaughter, Amy Robinson; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special friends, Orlando and Belma Figueroa. He was predeceased by a son, Joel; a daughter, Sandra Ann; and a grandson, Kody.
