WASHBURN – Kay E. Johnson, 66, died unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 22, 1944, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Oscar and Helen (Willman) Wisbey.

She worked a number of years at Burrell’s Clipping Service, Presque Isle. Kay was an avid bingo player, was loved and will be missed by her bingo family. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Bright and her fiance, Kevin White, of Blue Hill and Vera Corey and her husband, Dan, of Chapman; and four grandchildren. Kay was predeceased by her husband, Eric Johnson, in 2003; and a brother, Jr. Wisbey.

Friends may call noon Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where a celebration of her life will take place 1 p.m. Spring interment will be at Hillside Grove Cemetery, Crouseville. Online condolences may be expressed at
