GREENVILLE JUNCTION – Frances T. Caron, 99, died Feb. 20, 2011, at C.A. Dean Hospital, Greenville. She was born Nov. 13, 1911, in Greenville Junction, daughter of William and Margaret (Livingston) Owens.

She attended Greenville schools and worked for many years for the Crafts family. In 1926 she married Hormidas Caron and had four children.

Hormidas predeceased her in 1994 after 58 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by two sons, William J. Caron and Charles J. Caron; and five siblings, Emmet Owens, Greta McEvoy, Eliza Cannaughton, Patrick Owens and Harriett Parent. She is survived by two sons, Robert Caron and his wife, Alice, and Oliver Caron, all of Edison, N.J.; a granddaughter, Stephanie Bohling and her husband, Thomas, of Bayville, N.J.; a grandson, Robert Caron Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, of Manapalan, N.J.; two great-grandsons, Robert III and Nicholas; three great-granddaughters, Skyler, Casey and Riley; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Lucy Fay of Greenville.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the spring at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, with burial afterward at Greenville Cemetery. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Greenville. For an online guest register, go to
