EASTON – Loretta M. Brown, 93, went to heaven April 22, 2011. She was born Oct. 24, 1917, in Ashland, to Avon and Inez (Pratt) Wilcox.
She had been a resident at Presque Isle Nursing Home for the past 21/2 years and left a wonderful remembrance to everyone that she came in contact with. Loretta, along with her husband Aubrey, farmed in Easton for many years. They raised four children, Steve of Pettigeu, Ark., Sally Longmoore of Hingham, Mass., Betty Myers of Endwell, N.Y., and Molly Curran of Easton. Loretta was a member of Easton Wesleyan Church.
Loretta is also survived by a special nephew who was like a son to her, Justin Brown of Brewer; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Easton Wesleyan Church where a funeral service will begin 4 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Maxwell officiating.
