EDDINGTON – Bruce N. Kennedy, 69, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at his residence. He was born May 12, 1942, in Milbridge, son of the late David J. Kennedy and Dorothy (Wallace) Kennedy.
Bruce attended local schools. He had worked as an automotive technician for most of his life working most recently at Downeast Toyota, Brewer. He was a member of Pleiades Lodge No. 173, Milbridge. Bruce was an avid hunter and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce Kennedy of Eddington; his mother, Dorothy Kennedy of Bangor; one son, Shaun Kennedy and his wife, Lori, and their daughter, Shayleigh, of Old Orchard Beach; one daughter, Stacey Seymour and her husband, Thomas, and their children, Ryan Seymour and Whitney Seymour, all of Brewer; and one sister, Jane Anderson of Wisconsin. He was predeceased by his father; and two brothers, Ralph Kennedy and George Kennedy.
The family invites relatives and friends to a gathering of remembrance with conversation and refreshments 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor.
