MOUNT DESERT – George P. Kesaris, 55, of 6 Southwest Valley Road, died unexpectedly July 13, 2012, at his home. He was born Nov. 4, 1956, son of Anthony A. and Dorothy (Bake) Kesaris.
George graduated from Colby College, class of 1978; and New England College of Law in 1982, with a jurist doctor degree. After a year working for the attorney general in Massachusetts, he joined the law firm of Markos and Roy, Ellsworth, which became Roy and Kesaris, and subsequently Roy, Beardsley, Williams and Kesaris. He was a solo practitioner in Bar Harbor since 1992 at the law offices of George P. Kesaris, Esq.
Survivors include a brother, Philip A. Kesaris of Gaithersburg, Md.; two nephews, Samuel P. Kesaris and Peter A. Kesaris, also of Gaithersburg; and Julie Ann Kesaris of Mount Desert.
A celebration of George’s life will be held 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Atlantic Brewing Co., 15 Knox Road, Town Hill.
